Thanks for all your work. Such a wonderful thing you do. So many of us had our heritage stripped from us, in a sense, and it is very hard to find glimpses of our cultural roots.
I know my grandpa worked very hard to assimilate into American culture and I’m not sure he felt much of a connection or pull to Hotin, for understandable reasons. But I can’t help but be curious about the place.

The synagogue is still functioning and is situated in 27 Shevchenka Street. I can’t say anything about the size of the Jewish community.
